An Intro to Me

I guess nows the time to actually introduce myself to you guys. My name is Gracie and I live in the middle of nowhere Indiana. I’m 23 years old and I have a degree in Film and Video from a Community College. I used to blog, but that blog was given to me as part of a podcast site that was run by my (now ex) boyfriend and his best friend. When that relationship ended I felt awkward continuing the blog.

But now I’m back in the game and shall be giving you a new article every week. I’m aiming for Tuesday to be the day I post. (Of course I am now a freelancer for a local station so that may change my writing depending on what assignments I’m given).

So let me take the time to tell you about myself.

My favorite movie: The Nightmare Before Christmas

{And thus I learned everything I ever needed to learn about Politics}

This movie inspired me at a young age to look at films a different way. And because of this film I have an extensive knowledge of stop motion films (and yes, there will be articles about that topic).

I mostly listen to soundtracks to my favorite movies, tv shows, and broadway shows. And my favorite band is Oingo Boingo.

I get my news from The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, NPR, WTF with Josh Hadley and Jillian Zurowski, and WTFIWWY with Nash. I am a Democrat and a feminist.

In my spare time I read and watch television with my family, and because both my mom and dad work in media I know a lot about how the world of television works. (I will be writing articles about TV shows and how the networks are fairing, I will be decoding this for you too, that way we can stop our favorite shows from being canceled.)
