This week we say goodbye to 30 Rock. But who cares? In one more week we get Community back!

OH HOW I MISSED YOU SO! (now tilt the camera down)
So for those of you that aren’t as streets ahead as I am, Community stars the sexy Joel McHale as he goes to Greendale Community College to get his Lawyer Degree.

At least that’s what it was about…..I WANNA TOUCH HIS EARS!
He forms a study group with a bunch of misfits and hilarity ensures!

Like a stop-motion ADVENTURE!
So what is Go On? Well it’s about Matthew Perry is a sports announcer that loses his wife and to cope with the loss he joins a therapy group with a bunch of sad misfits….hilarity ensures?

I will admit, it’s a grim premise. But oddly, seeing these sad sacks makes me laugh because they’re funny. And it’s intended humor, not un-intended.

Seeing Matthew getting attacked by cats was funny!
I like to think of the show as a more popular Community.
Earlier I mentioned that this was a “more popular” Community. And I know it’s weird to say this but it is rather popular. You would think that the sad setting around these characters would drive people away, but the show is safely averaging 6.0 million viewers a week.
I think it’s mostly because of The Voice (which I do have to note that since the current season ended Go On’s numbers have been slipping) and Matthew Perry, cause people can’t get over Friends
I never liked Friends, but one does have to appreciate what Friends has done to Television today. Without it there would be no How I Met Your Mother.

{almost} BEST….SHOW…EVER!
Whenever I watched some episodes the only thing I really liked was Chandler because he was the guy saying the things I was thinking about the show.
It’s not as cleaver as Community, not by a long shot but the fact that NBC generally likes the formula of Community to want to rip it off does make me a little happy.
Also, both these shows have Oingo Boingo references!
{and I can’t find videos of these anywhere! But Go On’s Boingo reference was better cause they actually used a song}
