Well screw my Disney channel article (maybe next week) but I think I have a better story to write about.
Jon Stewart is taking a break from The Daily Show.
Why you ask? Well to direct a movie about Maziar Bahari, who was held captive in Iran for 118 days back in 2009.
Also his appearance on The Daily Show was used against him in court when he was accused of spying.
Anyway the hiatus will be 8 weeks long during the summer. So that means no episodes, right? WRONG! Sexy hot John Oliver will take over!
So what does this mean for Jon? It could mean anything really. For one, if the movie turns out good he could very well move into a directors position. He may even leave the show and continue making movies. Not gonna lie, that would make me sad but if the movies are good, then I won’t care so much.
That way instead of hosting the Oscars, he can WIN an Oscar!
As for John Oliver, he has a lot to burden in these 8 weeks. He is one of the BEST corespondents on the show after Jason Jones and Samantha Bee but to take over the whole show?
If its a failure, he could be known as the guy who couldn’t do it. Like Craig Killborne before him. But if he succeeds it very well could mean he gets his own show like Colbert. Or he could just 100% take over. His star could SKYROCKET!
And he won’t be getting shit jobs like The Love Guru.
I see John doing fine replacing Jon. John Oliver has written for Daily Show for many seasons now and his bits are some of the best.
And have I mentioned that he’s easy on the eyes?
I could watch this for hours.
