…The earliest fauna would likely have exclusively eaten flora since it was that or single celled organisms, since plants evolved first, wouldn’t it? So… Yeah, I can bite that the first animals would have been vegetarian… Because that’s the logical way for evolution to have worked. They certainly didn’t eat animals in any scientific sense, though; single celled organisms are neither animals nor plants. I think the unidentified animal might be a red wolf, but the ears are far too small for that based on a quick google…
