MV5BMjAwNDAxMjc0N15BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwNDcyNDU3MDE@._V1_SX640_SY720_I don’t know what it is about the Paranormal Activity franchise that keeps me coming back for more. The first one was executed perfectly, like a haunted roller coaster ride. The second was bad, the third was better than that, the fourth was the worst. I spend some time apart from the series. We had grown apart and become our own concept of horror. It was by pure coincidence that Ghost Dimension came out today and I found The Marked Ones on Hulu.

Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones was okay and has a more complex story than the others. My partner thought it made more sense than the other ones but it was not that scary. Jesse, Marisol, and Hector are friends who have just graduated from high school. Jesse lives above a woman suspected of being a witch named Anna. She ends up dead and their other friend, Oscar, seems to have done it. Oscar goes crazy and kills himself. Jesse begins to lose it also as all three friends look into what happened to Anna, what she was up to, and the future events that lead to the mysterious circumstances surrounding them. There were a few jumpscares but nothing major. Let us call this one a kiddie coaster you have to ride with your younger sister.

Ghost Dimension is terrible according to an acquaintance who enjoyed The Marked Ones. Therefore, I might not waste to money to see it this weekend. I guessed that this film would not be good, perhaps quite silly.

This movie is a one-time watch unless you want to witness someone else experience it. It is available on Hulu with a subscription. 6/10.
