No Alternate facts here.

Hey, Gang. Watching the little turkeys come out with their mothers and explore the backyard. Hopefully, none of you burned out your eyeballs trying to watch the solar eclipse. Your eyeballs are important, so don’t fry ’em okay?

So, in a bit of continuation from last week, more demonstrations have popped up around the country by nazis, racists, and others for whatever reasons these people have for being hate mongers. The big one that got a lot of attention around here was the one held in Boston a few days ago. But, just as was the case in Virginia, there were counter protesters to these people. A LOT of counter protesters that, like me, think these racists empowered by the dipshit Trump to think they are being persecuted and are butthurt that other people exist. My favorite counter measure if the faces of these assholes are flooding the internet for identification and are losing their jobs based on them being called out for their actions. A few of them are claiming “free speech” and that they are being treated unfairly.

Yeah, that’s bullshit.

Let’s take a look at Free Speech. Free speech under the Bill of Rights reads as such:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

In other words, amongst other things, the first amendment says that congress can not limit the speech of citizens.

If you haven’t been following along, the current congress can’t do much of anything these days, let alone get involved with trying to limit the hate speech of nazis. Congress has not been involved with any of these demonstrations, nor should they be.

While the lily white boys club is bitching about is that they are being held accountable for their hate speech and demonstrations. And guess what? That is perfectly legal.

See, despite what a lot of people think, The First Amendment doesn’t say that you can say whatever you want and no one can do anything about it. There is such a thing as accountability in the United States. Sure, you can say and feel whatever you want, but the Constitution and the Bill of Rights don’t absolve you from facing repercussions from those thoughts and actions. If your boss found you being a hatemonger, they can fire your ass if they feel it is necessary, or they plain think you’re an asshole. That poor college student who has been taught since he was a kid in the “Lost Cause” movement and still thinks that the Civil War wasn’t about Slavery, well the college can kick him out on his ass. Welcome to the real world kid. Maybe someone should have taught you that dressing up as a confederate soldier and marching with a bunch of nazis wasn’t such a hot idea. There is no legal documentation to protect you from yourselves.

So whenever you hear or see some nazi, klan member, or however else these people just to justify and rationalize their racism to themselves, and they claim their free speech is being violated. Give them a good hearty “Bullshit!” because they deserve it and isn’t going to stop you.

And just a friendly reminder. I fucking hate nazis.
