Two years ago (comic time), some serious drama occurred within the Starbolts. Jack and Crystal lost their sister. Dennis (Now Firaxil) lost Sara. And of course Angela had a brush with death at the hands of Demonstorm. This comic calls back to Starbolts #17 through Starbolts #26. In the real world, this was way back in 2009. It’s fun to revisit these stories and upgrade the sprites to today’s standards. You’ll notice Tanis is wearing his old costume but with a modern twist. Demonstorm himself also looks different from how he looked back in those days.
The question on everyone’s minds should be “What will Angela find in Demonsk?” Will she find the answers she is looking for? Will the people of Demonsk even help her? Only time will tell.
And yes it looks like Tanis and Crystal aren’t going to be friendly any time soon. She blames him for what happened to Marcus. I don’t think that’s going to be forgiven quite so easily. We shall see.
I’m sitting here during Trump’s second impeachment. Seems like no matter what, we still can’t get rid of him. Doesn’t matter if he is president or not. He is still around. I figured we would be done with him and he would have disappeared by Now, but nope here we are as a country watching state-elected senators and representatives up in front of tv cameras arguing for or against him. And I believe he deserves it.
Going through all this again may not be pleasant but after 4 years of his bullshit, it is something I am not against. Trump did all kinds that were not favored by people. Of course, it was argued that all he did was fine and if anyone was offended they deserved it and no damage was done. I don’t agree with that. Not that the thought would not have won me the presidency in 2016 or anything like that, but it6 is a good frame of thought to have as a human being. Try not to offend people. life is just a little bit easier when you keep that thought in mind.
Now here we are with a second trial playing out. Trump isn’t even president anymore. The American voters saw to that. I voted the same way. But it didn’t matter to Trump. Millions of people across the country voted for him. All the stuff he did and said didn’t change. He was not the person many painted him to be. That is why he lost in the last election. Heck with what is being said, how he won the election in the first place. I would say we would be a better country without him in charge but we can’t get rid of him! There must be an allegory or an image that creates the same image. Like someone you find really pretty or something only for them to have a case of the plague that doesn’t seem to leave. No matter how awesome they look to you, there is that case of The Plague that keeps showing up right when you want to make a move and get something done. Not a picture that comes to mind on someone you eventually want to get close to.

After talking with the Source, Angela has to seek out Tanis and Shenra. Perhaps they can tell her more about the ritual that killed her back in Starbolts #17. Wow. That was four hundred and ninety-nine comics ago! I guess it’s better late than never. If you recall, this was around the time Sara vanished too. I told Sam recently that it seemed like a lot of stories refer back to those days. It was two years ago in comic time. But, in the real world it’s been about a decade. That’s crazy to think about. Time flies when you’re having fun.
This week, we check in on Shrall, Tayalla and his mother. The latter seems to be adjusting to life well after being displaced in time. You can be sure that there were many parades and interviews with the Queen once she returned to Aquarius. You can also be sure that the first Lady Liberty, Carter Danvers, has been going through the same thing!
As far as the Source goes, we now learn more about it. The Source, I think, is basically a small sun and has been around since the Big Bang. In fact, the Big Bang is probably what created the Source to begin with. I would go into more details. But, those are for another time. We got a meeting with Tanis and Shenra coming next week! Stay tuned!
What do you get when you throw KISS, an evil mastermind bent on revenge, killer robots and a theme park into a blender and hit the mix button? Not much, it turns out.
Well, it looks like Angela discovered a shocking secret deep in the heart of Illibrata! What did the source mean by “its heart”? Whatever set it off like that has a lot to do with what happened to Angela WAY back in Starbolts #17. She died at the hands of Demonstorm and was eventually brought back to life. The comic was from mid 2009 and like Sara’s supposed death around the same time period, this is yet another deep cut into the history of the webcomic.
I’ve been enjoying writing these deep cuts and of course spotlighting the older Agents. It’s a good idea to flesh them out as characters. As for Angela? Well, she is definitely has a lot of stuff going on. We’ll see what happens next for her and delve into that connection she has with Demonstorm.
Flipping around on the TV and one of the news channels have a thing up saying that the inauguration for Joe Biden to become the next president is tomorrow. After 4 years of Trump screwing things up, It is about time for someone different to come along and do a better job at running our country instead of what has been going on.
I still remember back in 2016 on election night and being online with a friend who lived on the west coast that was devastated that Trump actually won the election. It was no field trip for me either as I was actually IN that race. Of course, I never had a chance at actually winning. But my goal wasn’t to win and become president of the United States. It may sound odd but my goal was to give people I knew an actual choice above voting for Superman or Robin Hood or any other ideas to vote for. Something like that when they didn’t like either candidate. Vote for someone! Of course, there is evidence the whole election was rigged anyway so it didn’t really matter. 2020 was a horrible year but the election went a better way and tomorrow we get to see the end result of it. Hopefully, everything will go all right when Joe Biden and Kamala Harris get inaugurated and we can put the last four years behind us. Hell, let us put Trump and all his crap behind us! His reality show is over, his businesses all flopped and most of them are out of business. Nothing happened in those four years that live on in history for the better!
Of course, trying to predict the next four years is not exactly a thing I have been good at either. So for all I know this could turn out to be a terrible run for the country. Let’s hope that it doesn’t!
And coming back to the article last week, it seems I have not been eating right and that is why I have been sick. No COVID or anything like that, I’m not dieing or anything. I need a good sandwich and some chocolate!
