That’s right, folks!  I’m gonna give you all a taste of what’s in store for the second year of reviews!  The main block will be sixteen episodes, with a break halfway through.  I’ll also be producing some Stage Gamer videos to keep up on the video game end of things.

Hopefully, once things settle down here (my schedule getting more regular and Lady Renae settling into her new apartment, mostly), I’ll be able to produce some new episodes of Thespian Talk, eventually getting back into the swing of having guests on the show!  If there’s someone you’d like to see on the show, don’t be afraid to request someone!  However, bear in mind that those who haven’t already been on the show will be considered first.

Anyway, here’s a tentative schedule for both Play It to the Back Row and Stage Gamer!

Play It to the Back Row

  1. How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying
  2. The Odd Couple
  3. Anything Goes
  4. Arsenic and Old Lace
  5. Hair
  6. You Can’t Take It With You
  7. Ghost
  8. Carrie
*BREAK*
  1. Oklahoma!
  2. Into the Woods
  3. Sweeney Todd (crossover with Tyler Neinast and Kirbygal)
  4. Saturday Night Fever
  5. The Producers (crossover with Lady Renae)
  6. Shrek
  7. A Tyler Perry Production
  8. Legally Blonde
There are also a few specials this year:
  • Footloose (2011) (crossover with The Cat)
  • Stage Beauty
  • Super Sweet 16
  • Ace Ventura (both movies)
Stage Gamer (NES games, unless otherwise noted; in no particular order)
  • Dragon Warrior
  • Pokemon (Red/Blue, Game Boy)
  • Legend of the Ghost Lion
  • Final Fantasy
  • Adventures of Bayou Billy
  • Lupin III (NES and SNES flavors)
  • Metal Gear
  • Sword of Vermillion (Genesis)
  • Metroid II: The Return of Samus (Game Boy)
  • Zen: Intergalactic Ninja
  • Treasure Master
  • StarTropics (both games)
  • Fist of the North Star
  • Toejam and Earl 2: Panic on Funkatron (by request) (Genesis)
  • Final Fantasy Adventure (Game Boy)
I also plan to attempt a Play It to the Back Row/Stage Gamer video covering Grease, both movie and Wii game.
In addition, I’ll be working towards filming a big finale video at MagFest with Diamanda Hagan (provided we both can make it there), which will close out the two major story arcs I introduce in the Play It to the Back Row series!  Also, keep your eyes and ears out for other cameos throughout this year.
That’s all!  The Anniversary Review will (hopefully) be up soon!  It’s almost ready, just waiting on some artwork!
