Damn Write: A new Logo!

Something new to look at for 2020!

Hey gang.

That old logo was getting old and thought it was time to replace it with something new. The old logo was fine and my thanks to my friend Ariah for making that for me years ago.

This logo was made by myself and wanted to test things out. It actually was inspired by Pat Benatar’s logo she used on the Get Nervous album. One of the songs on it, “Shadows of the Night” is a favorite of mine and noticed that she had a nice logo on it.

Of course, I don’t look that good but eh.. this is about a new logo and I like to keep things new every year or so. If I were a more professional Artist instead of a writer I could probably put something together that looks better, but the reality is, I’m not. This still is a part of me, despite my issues with things.

We had some snow here at home Base but nothing that couldn’t be handled. We had a bit of an ice storm and I guess that knocked out the internet everywhere. I was uploading an opinion piece for another site and was ready to get that online when the internet went out and stayed out for a while. After a while, I stopped trying on that until I was able to get online again. Once that came back I was able to get things uploaded again without much effort.

Remember folks to save and save often.

Beyond that, there isn’t that much else going on. Snow tends to halt a lot of things this time of year. I’m not writing a book or anything heavy right now, just the usual weekly stuff I do for BodySlam.net or the lists I write for top5must.com. Those added onto this stuff I write for Damn Write tend to keep me busy most of the time.
