First is guess who won the presidential election? No, I didn’t win as a surprise. THAT would shock the heck out of me, but Joe Biden won the election and that makes me happy. It will be a little while before he is made official in becoming President of the United States but it can’t get here fast enough. I have never liked Trump and have never been a fan of his. I have never liked his politics or the way he carried himself in front of the nation. Countries around the world have been as happy as I am that Trump lost. They realize that without Trump things will be easier to deal with and they won’t get his reality show BS that makes him feel so much better. Hopefully, the country will be back to something more normal now that Trump won’t be in power. I am hoping that the inauguration in January will be a wondrous occasion with lots of people feeling good instead of Trump’s crap show that bragged about more people being there than what really did show up.
Another thing that has happened was one that took me for a loop and left me actually crying and shed some tears and that was the death of Alex Trebek. I have been watching Alex going back to the 80s and back when Jepordy had real TVs to show those questions on. I have been watching Alex with those clues long enough I remember that mustache he used to have. I remember back when he was part of Wrestlemania 7 in 1991. If I remember right he was brought out to ringside announced as the “Co-host” of Jeopardy. Fans back in 1991 remember that little mistake. Hell, I remember that! Beyond the wrestling connections, I watched Alex on other shows like Concentration back in the day. I didn’t even know about the older version of the show until much later in time To me, those shows hosted by Alex Trebek are the classic shows just like Buzzr labels it. That is the kind of show I grew up with.
As I am writing this, they are airing an episode of Jeopardy with an intro dedicated to Alex. It was said that he tapped 35 episodes before he passed away so whatever they do for his replacement or whatever the show producers end up doing still has some time before we see is on air. So if anyone will fit into the spot that once was held by Alex Trebek, it will be a while before we see them. Buzzr has already put up their tribute and are still airing episodes with him. It is sad when I think about it, but what better what to remember him than by airing the quiz shows he was known for.
So, holding back tears, I remember all that he did. Thank you, Alex Trebek. We are sure going to miss you. And best of luck to our incoming president. The next 4 years will hopefully be better than the last 4 have been.

This week Sara embarks on a spiritual trip to clean her red ledger. Grandpa Whitefox is right in saying that it isn’t going to be as easy as she thought it was going to be. Nope. There is work to be done for sure. Not only does she have to atone for her (Or rather Sola’s) misdeeds, she has to contend with the origin of her sisters powers and why hers changed from clone to clone.
Speaking of the clones, it was nice to see Psyche, Velocity and even the clone who died way back in Starbolts #19 again. It turns out that clones CAN get into heaven as long as they have a complete soul. I guess that means Sola must be in the bad place. Can’t say she’s missed. But, at least she’s warm down there =).
It seems that two out of three Whitefox children are looking for retribution of sorts. The third, Crystal, will of course have to deal with her own demons next week. Keep an eye out for that! It’s always good to have wise grandparents on hand when you need them. And trust me when I say Crystal is definitely going to need them.
This week’s comic starts off with a bit of a history lesson about two families both alike in dignity. In the new world, we lay our scene. And that’s about as far into Romeo and Juliet I am willing to go. We’ve all seen the play. We know how it ends. Luckily, it doesn’t end that bad for our heroes since they are here and everything.
Still, we get a bit of Whitefox genealogy. Jack, Sara and Crystal come from a long line of heroic people who sacrificed themselves to do what was morally and ethically right. They fought valiantly to make a better world for their families. I like to think that all three of them were listening intently to the introduction.
I had a fun time reading up on Cherokee history. The clothes the tribesmen are wearing are traditional clothes I found on Google. I didn’t want to overdo their look. I also gave them little white fox emblems. I thought that was clever. Revolutionary War clothes are so intricate. It’s hard to make them into sprites sometimes. Still, it came out very well!
Of course Jack had to deal with a bit of survivor’s guilt. Years ago, he was the only member of Soldier Six to survive an explosion that ended up costing him an arm and a leg. Literally. He was put in the freezer and emerged many years later.
The flashback explains what happened immediately after he was revived at age nineteen. He mistook his sixteen year old sister for his teammate turned girlfriend, Scarlett. Later, he looked up the two new sisters and went to check out the man who assaulted his little sister. Thankfully, he was there to stop Cody from exacting his revenge on her. There’s no telling what he might have done.
Jack had no idea she was his blood sister at the time and still stepped up to be a hero like his ancestors who came before him. Sure Jack was nineteen when he stopped Cody. But, he had the blood of heroes in his veins and that selfless act proved his worth.
Jack also now knows what’s been going on with Soldier Six. They’ve been haunting Cobra aka Richard Smythe aka the villain who killed them AND kidnapped Jack’s sisters. That guy really IS a snake and he is surely going to end up in the bad place one of these days. Only then will the spirits of Soldier Six finally know peace.
Next week we’re going to look at Sara who is on the path to redemption for Sola’s crimes. How will her ancestors treat her? Find out next time!
The full title should be “Tossing Fish At Random Motherfuckers”, but that’s a bit too long.
This episode finds everyone talking about the usual things, the final part of the meme topics list, and the ENTIRE news segment being taken up by the outcome of the NXVIM case!
